Alcon gets opticians and consumers closer to each other through InContact
Focusing on e-commerce growth, Alcon presented in Lisbon and Porto – on January 30 and 31, respectively – the digital platform digital InContact, which is an innovative tool for electronic commerce that the company will make available for its clients and business partners. The aim is to create a new space of interaction between business owners and consumers.
During the presentation, it was made clear that as the internet has become more and more a space for research and acquisition of optical products and a key element of the purchase decision making, InContact will be a communication and interaction channel, allowing the business to adapt to new consumption behaviours. In the end, Alcon believes all parties will get something out of it.
