ANO has new directors
Last Saturday 29 June, General Assembly of the National Association of Opticians (ANO) elected the new governing bodies for the triennium of 2019/2021.
The new directors are comprised of Fernando Tomaz (Optician of Telheiras, associate 1322), António Amorim (Medical Optics of the Beiras, associate 699), Paula Silva (New Oculist of Loures, associate 944), Daniela Fonseca (Jorge Oculist, associated with 185 )and Arlindo Teixeira (Adão Oculist, associate 51).
The table of the general assembly is now comprised of Luís Góis (Oculist Central Torreense, associate 642), Alexandre Costa (Boa Imagem Optical Center, associate 1005) and Cristina Picotês (Picotês Optics, associate 1574). The financial council includes Miguel Domingues (Carou Garcia, associate 343), António Martins (Zona Óptica, associate 1539), Marco Santos (Leiria Central de Leiria, associate 17) and Helder Oliveira (Grupoptico, associate 1145).
The general assembly had 191 associates – 40 attendances / 151 representation letters. The only voting list – List J – won with 131 votes in favor, 56 blank votes and 3 null votes (one member left without voting). The Report on Activities and Accounts 2018 was approved at the same meeting.
