FIBO is side by side with Portugal and the Portuguese people and has always been on the front line in the fight against Covid-19. This time, they have offered ophthalmic lenses on safety glasses, giving individual protection glasses to the firemen of Seixal. This solidarity campaign was made possible through the partnership with Óptica Maia – Institutoptico da Cruz de Pau, who donated the safety glasses.

A symbolic event was held, complying with all safety rules to mark this solidarity partnership, where the Seixal City Council Councillor, Joaquim Tavares, the Seixal Fire Brigade Commander, José Raimundo, the Amora Fire Brigade Commander, Carlos José Falcão, the Óptica Maia representative, Isaú Maia, and the FIBO Commercial Manager, José Jesus, were present.

“This initiative reinforces one of our strategic vectors: FIBO – A Portuguese, Global and United Organisation. Together for Portugal!”, they summarize in a statement published on their Facebook page.
